METI comes from 'Metis', a mythical Titaness in the Greek Mythology, mother of wisdom, deep thought and wise counsel.

Dr. Mattia L. Rattaggi brings together 20 years of leadership in global finance with a 10-year deep expertise in web 3 and digital innovation. He has held senior roles in risk, regulation, audit, and governance at major banking corporates, while driving projects and start-ups across blockchain, tokenisation, AI, and the metaverse. Holding a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Fribourg and having conducted research at the University of Cambridge, he bridges academic rigor with practical execution. He has a multilingual and multicultural background.
