METI Advisory had the pleasure of attending the Swiss-Vietnamese FinTech Summit hosted by the Swiss FinTech Association (SFTA) at Tenity in Zurich, which was especially meaningful to the company as its managing partnere Dr Mattia Rattaggi enters his second month as Advisory Board Member of SFTA.
🌍 The delegation from Vietnam included representatives from the Government Office, the Ministry of Justice, the The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), and leading Vietnamese banks. Next to opening remarks by SFTA Co-President Philip J. Weights and Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of SBV, we were delighted to listen to a keynote by Ivo Sieber, Vice President of the Swiss-Viet Economic Forum and former Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam.
💡 Standout contributions from SFTA members included from Han Hurschler on quantum computing in finance, from Brigitta Gyoerfi, CFA, Tenity, from Brandon Mathews (Stonestep AG), from Nicola Rustignoli (SCION Association) and Yuri Berg, MBA (FinchTrade).
🤝 Dr Mattia Rattaggi attended the closing panel along B Gyorfi and N Rustignoli, discussing, under Philip’s moderation, aspects around legal frameworks for digital innovation, FinTech ecosystem growth & cooperation models, trends in AI, blockchain, openbanking, riskmanagement and cybersecurity, ways to support startups, and potential Swiss-Vietnamese FinTech partnerships.
